  • Word Special - Achieving a successful Mail Merge

    Course Prerequisites:

    This course has been designed for users who have experience with Microsoft Word and either attended the Introduction/Intermediate I course or worked with Word for some time.

    It is expected that all users are proficient with a mouse, the keyboard and Microsoft Windows.

    Course content:

    Review of existing skills

    Creating a table
    Selecting rows, cells and columns
    Inserting and deleting cells, rows and columns
    Moving and copying cells, rows and columns
    Adjusting column widths

    Mail Merging
    Starting a merge
    Entering data
    Creating a form letter
    Using Merge to produce labels
    Merge to selected records
    Using Excel data or and Access Table or Query in a mail merge


    Duration - 4 hours
